Source Code Update?

kingargylekingargyle Posts: 568Members ✭✭

It's been about 3 months since any public commits have happened on the open source projects site.  Is the project still open source, or has it been taken closed source once Plex Inc started charging for the app on the Roku?

Just wondering if it is worth my time to look at contributing to the project.

The source code in the roku-client-public repo matches the released version of the channel. We've also always had a private repo, which we sometimes use prior to releasing, depending on what's going on in that release. That has been the case recently. (If you follow such things, this is similar to how android does open source.) As soon as the update we're working on is ready to be released it will get pushed to roku-client-public. So yes, still open source, and we'd love to have you contribute!
