Is it even worth it?

...or am I just wasting my time?
I've recently started to teach myself how to skin Plex. Since I don't have access to the .9x code, should I even bother learning on .8x? I don't know how things are changing for the skinning since some devs here have stopped working on skins for .8x.

Should I just wait? If so, HOW LONG?!?! ;)

I learnt on Plex 8. The majority of it is still the same, there's just a few new labels and images you can use. In fact, I find things in .9 a whole lot easier in that you don't have to skin both a library AND files section anymore. I'd say no, don't wait. Carry on doing what you're doing and what you learn from Plex 8 will easily carry across.
