Spam again

For a while there were no issues with spam after moving to the new forum. I just checked the recent discussions and it looks like the spam is back again. Very annoying. Other than reporting those topics so moderators can remove them, is there anything being done proactively?

    It would be a lot easier if there was a flag button on the thread list instead of having to open each spam post to report it.

    I subscribe via email to all of the major forum categories. I'm seeing 20-30 messages daily, but by random senders (usually no more than three). I assuming they are sending their SPAM via email.

    What is being done to address this growing problem?
