    Yes I sure did. I worked in post-production as an editor for a decade before making a career shift. I worked on a cable tv show, documentaries, corporate video, and some local commercials. Ok I will admin, I even did weddings but I try not to be reminded of that!

    My next move was in education where I ran a career-focused high school program that taught all aspects of digital media.

    I have a similar background: I studied English literature and linguistics, with minors in film analysis/film history and theory and history of photography. I've directed a 30min documentary about a silent killer, the virus H5N1, where I conducted interviews with physicians and professors about immunology and development of vaccines, and with a government official responsible for all the pandemic plans. I also animated a 3D virus in 3dsmax and showed it in a sequence swimming through blood veins through the lungs, how it multiplies and attacks healthy cells.

    Spent most of the 80's working in the film and video biz. Gaffer, camera, grip, electric, film transfer, etc. Left it to get into the computer biz.
    My Plex library is kind of divided up into assorted libraries based on type.
    Feature films - 1812
    Disney Films - 151
    Other animated - 319
    Documentaries (including music concerts and docs, comedy concerts, other documentaries) - 725
    TV Series - 119
    Assorted other TV shows (music, comedy, educational, holidy, animated) - 248
    Cartoons (looney tunes, betty boop, mickey mouse etc) - 1838

    Total "Films" (anything you can find in IMDB) - 4,845
    Total TV episodes - 12,796

    System - Synology +2415 12-bay with seven 5TB drives.

    Im very picky with movies I want. I dont just get movies to have them, I must want to actually watch the film or show.

    At some point i want to try and watch it all. It will happen!!

    1074 movies and still have 4 binders of dvd's to add... just time consuming.
    20 TV shows approximately 200 episodes mostly kids shows for the little ones :)
