Volume not high enough, amplification has no effect

Hello,

I installed PHT on archlinux from communauty repo.
All works fine in PHT but volume has this little issue. I maxed out volume, it's audible, but not enough, I would like to boost it more, like VLC or Kodi allows that. I tried amplification option in PHT, it had no effect on volume, and that sounded strange for me, so I don't really know if this it's normal or an issue. Well, I know I don't have issue either on pulseaudio or alsa, I alread checked all that stuff.

Is there something I could do to fix sound in PHT or amplification ?

Hey, I am having a similar issue. I have tried running through alsamixer, and everything is maxed for speaker volumes. Any other suggestions by chance?
