Before I drop $500 can anyone please tell me if the PLEX DVR works with Netgear Nighthawk X10 Router's Version of Plex Server?

Were you ever able to find an answer to this? I am thinking of doing this same thing..

Yes it does and it works very well, flawless recording.

The latest version available is May 09, 2017 so Live TV is not supported yet. I believe 1.7.3 or greater is needed

How do you get it to work regarding plugging in the TV tuner? Do you just plug the USB TV tuner into the router's USB port and Plex will recognize it?

Hey guys, I just started running live TV and DVR on my Netgear Nighthawk router. I'm using the HDHomeRunPrime tuner that I got on Amazon for $120. Plug in a M Card from your utility company and you're in business. I have had recordings abort though, and playback skips some, so I'm questioning whether the CPU in the router is powerful enough. Anyone else have any experience that could help here? I jumped on the Netgear Nighthawk when I saw it can run Plex vs building my own server. Now I'm wondering if I have to buck up and build a server with a big CPU to handle everything I'm throwing at it.
