Can we fix the multiple local="1" ip address problem in the docker container?

For Plex clients on certain smart TVs things go wrong if Plex is running on a system with multiple IP addresses (See http://forums.plex.tv/discussion/208119/have-a-problem-with-multiple-ips-on-different-subnets#latest). I was hoping that by running inside a docker container I'd be able to avoid that problem however I find that when running with host networking both the internal LAN IP and the docker bridge IP exist so the resources XML for my account shows both of them with local="1" which I expect to break things when I get my TV out of storage.

Is there any way to hide the docker bridge IP address from the container?

Why not run the container on its own IP, this avoids all sorts of problems.

Any docs on how to do that?
