Cable provider upgrading to H264 - live TV no longer plays in iOS clients - HDGrandslam

My cable provider started upgrading channels to H264 a few days ago, and I noticed because the most popular channels stopped streaming to my iOS clients, timing out and never starting to play.

I went nuts trying to figure it out and did not make progress until I realized every channel still played fine on my two RasPlex clients. Looking at the stream info in RasPlex, it did not take long to see that every channel that failed to stream was now being sent encoded in H264.

Using RasPlex, I made a list of MPEG2 channels and indeed found out that iOS clients will only live stream MPEG2 channels.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
