Slow streaming when audio is transcoded on 2016 Samsung TV

My 2016 Samsung TV is connected with audio receiver via ARC and output is set to bitstream Dolby Digital. Plex app has DTS support disabled in settings. Let's say I want to watch movie in 4k, when audio is set to DTS 7.1 I can see constant buffering and speed never goes past 30mbps mark:

But when I change audio stream to AAC 5.1 it can easily go as high as 120mbps on wifi:

Why does this happen if CPU shows less than 5% utilization(audio transcoding is quite lightweight after all)?
