2.008 every file transcode

Hi,
After the update to 2.008 i've notice that if i enable the secure connection every file is transcoding. If i disable this option the same file is direct played.
I'm constrained the enable the secure connection because the file stored in Google drive are too slow to start.
Everything works fine in 2.007.

What are you using? CloudSync or PlexCloud?
Have you tried setting the playback mode to Direct Play?
Have you checked if your answer might be in the User Manual?

I'm using my own server. The problem is that if i enable secure connection, every file in local and in google drive is transcoding. Disabling secure connection the same file is working properly.
I've try to force direct play but without success because the file was transcoded.
With 2.007 everything working fine
Just tried it and it works in Direct Play for me. There are a lot of reasons why transcoding is needed.
If you enable the option "Send debug to PMS" , you can check the logfile.
The part that does the Direct Play check looks like this:

The part you are showing is actually the server's MDE (Media Decision Engine) log.
To see the app's logging you need to enable the option
Send debug to PMS
inside the app first.It returns a code 3000, which means:
This app does not allow this item to be direct played. Check your settings and try again
.Direct play not available; Conversion OK
means we can play it, but need transcoding to do so.So something in the video is not compatible with the client's capabilities.
What codec or subtitle causes that can only be seen with the app's log enabled.

Hi @Orca ,
i've made some test and this is the result. I attach the entire log but this is the part that you have told me to check.
Plexpy report me that it transcode the video but how you see in the log everthing is ok and the client is capable to play the content. How i told if i disable secure connection the same file is played with direct play.
I've already tried to do the "samsung dance" without success.

I see a few issues:
`Transcoding Quality: [12] > Don't use 12 it's too much for most connections, set it to 10.

Bandwidth result: 0
It seems the server you are connecting to, has trouble with checking the bandwidth usage.
This results in the app thinking that the bandwidth might be too low and it decides to let the server handle it by transcoding.
Is it a recent PMS version?

The PMS is the last version. I've tried with 10 and it's the same. I have a 1Gbit connection at home and a 100 Mb in my remote server.
If i disable secure connection on the tv app the file is direct played.
What i can try now?
nevermind.. took me some time to figure out you are using pms on a pvs. According the used urls, it doesn't look like you are using custom server access urls (which would just complicate things).
I would've had ideas about a local setup, but none for a remote pvs setup.
Problems with remote connection?
What did you try so far (be as specific as you can)?
My pms is on a remote vps

here same problem
running (a debian) PMS V. 1.5.5.3634 on a OVH dedicated server with enough resources.
I've the same problem in Ju7000 tv.
I've changed manually to Direct Play and the movies reproduces ok but with
the auto option the Plex transcodes.
I have the same problem too, with UE55HU7500 2014 model.
