Synced smart playlist (track rating) are not working on iOS

As I have "isolated" the bug I edit my first post and title for clarity:

There is a glitch with how Plex handle smart playlist filtered by the track rating.
All my smart playlist that have a filter with track rating are not working on iOS: I have them synced but I can not open them (infinite rotating wheel).
I have found that the songs are not the cause as I can listen to the same song in a regular synced playlist
I can also listen to the smart playlist when streamed
Smart playlist that do not have track rating filter are fine too.

Hello,

I just rebuilded a new plex server from the ground up on a dedicated i7 PC.
After importing all my media and analysed them I synced some smart playlist (> 4* and > 2*) to my phone.
The sync starts but always finish with errors (on the same songs but those songs are perfectly fine and playable thru Plex web and in streaming).
I tried with a different quality setting so they get reencoded but same issue.
This could be okay as it is only few songs but then, on iOS I select my "phone server" to get the synced playlist, and there is just an infinite rotating wheel (loading) for local synced playlist (it never loads).

--> If I select my server and the same playlist on the same phone, it loads fine and I am able to listen to all music in streaming.

At the end, the only way to listen to my music is to stream as I am completely unable to sync.

I tried to delete and reinstall the app, no change.
Running on iOS 10.3.1 no jailbreak or whatsover.

    So I made a lot of tests:
    The issue with corrupted files is solved, I only had to analyse all media again, however I an still unable to listen to ANY smart playlist on iOS: I just have the loading wheel.

    I can sync the smart playlist but I can't use it at all. If I put the same songs as the one in the smart playlist in a regular playlist it's working perfectly... There is something weird here, especially on a fresh server.

    I dont get it: I just reported a bug and there is no acknowledgment that the devs are looking into it? At the end this forum is just like a user talk tool like reddit or a way to talk/report things to the devs?

    There seams to be a problem with Sync, if you previously have had a Smart Playlist synced (ex. filter: track rating more than 1, sorted by play count). If you delete the synced item (playlist), and add it again - the logs show, that PMS think that the playlist has already been synced, and won't sync anything. PMS logs attached.

    The PlexWeb Sync list shows that the tracks are waiting to be downloaded. The iOS app (latest Plex and iOS) is waiting on the server, and doesn't download any of the tracks.

    PlexWeb (v3.4.1):
    Shows that none of the 25 tracks are downloaded.

    Plex (v4.10) on iOS:
    13 tracks won't sync to iOS.

    You have disabled Debug Logging so the logs are not usable

    Please could you reproduce the problem with a new playlist but with debug logging enabled on the server.

    regarding my issue, here are the logs from my server and iPhone.
    For the server I followed the steps:
    1. removed the synced smart playlist
    2. enabled logging
    3. restarted server
    4. Synced a smart playlist with the iphone

    On the iPhone:
    1. Enabled debug
    2. Synced a smart playlist
    3. !App Freeze at the end of the sync
    4. Killed the app via the app switcher
    5. Started the app
    6. Went to the smart playlist
    7. Infinite loading loop

    --> Media is working when I try to play it via Artist or Album

    I am aware of your sync loop issue where you have stated that syncing 96% or 97% to 100% repeats itself over and over and that is covered by evidence you provided here http://forums.plex.tv/discussion/comment/1429603/#Comment_1429603

    However in this thread you described an issue where after deletion and recreating the sync does not take place which is the issue I asked for evidence for

    Just to let you know I am looking into the logs
    It is repeatedly asking for 4 items over and over again

    Could you let me have step by step on how to reproduce this.
    So you view a music library by tracks
    Then filter on specific ratings
    Then create a smart playlist
    Then sync the list to iOS ?

    I just create a playlist with as filter track rating is > 3 stars. That's it!

    I have this issue on every smart playlist that I create.
