I have some avi's that will not play on my Xbox one. They play on other devices and through the web.
I just get a black screen and it times out after a while. Plex Server does not show anything under playing or conversion

The info from plex is :

Media

Video Resolution 576p
Duration 1:30:40
Bitrate 999 kbps
Width 720
Height 480
Aspect Ratio 1.66
Container AVI
Video Frame Rate NTSC

Part

Duration 1:30:40
File Carry on Cowboy (1965).avi
Size 647.63 MB
Container AVI
Indexes sd

Codec MPEG4
Bitrate 795 kbps
Bit Depth 8
Chroma Subsampling 4:2:0
Frame Rate 29.97 fps
Height 480
Level -99
Ref Frames 1
Width 720

Codec MP3
Channels Stereo
Bitrate 192 kbps
Audio Channel Layout stereo
Sampling Rate 44100 Hz
Stream Identifier 1

I think I need to add something to profile to transcode. I added this :

VideoProfile container=“avi” codec="mpeg4" audioCodec="mp3,pcm"
with a < and />
and it didn't change anything.

Can anyone help ?

Thanks

Could you post your media XML, as it's more detailed. You can find instructions here under the XML Information section. Grab the contents of that page.
