More detail is needed in this error message!

I am running DVR 2.9.3 on FreeBSD. I imagine that rebooting will solve the problem - that might be a good suggestion as a first step to help the user fix this problem.

Plex current version is 1.5.5. Where do you get 2.9.3?

    Windows 10 Pro
    Intel Core i5-3570K, 32GB RAM
Plex DVR, Post processing with MCEBuddy 2.4.6 & Comskip 0.81.093
    HDHR Connect, HDHR Prime
Clients - Windows, iOS, Roku, Samsung TV

    Thank you for your comment.
    I found 2.9.3 at Settings > General
This is the DVR build from at least six months back. I think it's this one:

I am avoiding upgrading to the current version till I know how to ensure that my scheduled recordings and library will be preserved; I have not had time to learn how to be sure of this.

2.9.3 is the web interface version number. The actual PMS server version is on that same screen, just click on the server option at the top.

I run PMS on Windows 10 so can't comment much on your FreeBSD version but I have never lost scheduled recordings or my library when updating PMS to a new version. The only time I have lost a recording is when it was still in Post Processing and I installed a new version. So before installing a new version make sure there are no shows currently recording and that any Post Processing on recordings that recently finished are complete.
