Plex Media Player - Bad Image Error - MSVCP140.dll

trutraxtrutrax Posts: 1Members

Hi, after updating the windows 64bit Plex media player, I can no longer get it to load as I get multiple crash errors saying "MSVCP140.dll is either not designed to fun on Windows or it contains an error."

I have reinstalled multiple times with no success. Any suggestions for a fix?

Well this shouldn't happen. did you verify that uninstall removes all PMP files, and that installing it again makes the DLL appear?

Not at Plex anymore. I'm not a Ninja either.

Yeah, I actually have the same issue. I've reinstalled and keep getting the same error. Running Windows 10 v1703 and trying to install PLex version But I had the same issue a couple of weeks ago with a previous version of Plex too. Just too lazy to deal with it at the time...
