I have big hero 6 in 7.1. On my PC server it shows up as 6.1 but on my Nvidia SHIELD server it shows up as 7.1. Is there any way to fix this?

with "on your server" you mean the web app?
On which screen do you see the 6.1 ?

Please post the Plex XML info of the movie.

On my BR rip, I see 7.1 on both the english and the german audio track.

I can view all 3 of my servers using the web app. I'm using my PC as my main server and I have two Nvidia SHIELD's that I also use as PMS's. On those devices Big Hero 6 has an option to play the movie in AAC 7.1 but when I click back to my PC server the audio stream is only AAC 6.1

the XML info is as follows......

    MKV
    AAC
    HEVC
    VOBSUB, SRT

Sorry, that doesn't tell me anything. I need the actual XML.

But if you say AAC, then it is not the original audio track from the BluRay.

did you need the link to it or just copy and past the info that plex is showing me?

and here is the one from the Nvidia SHIELD running as PMS

Never, ever post your X-Plex-Token! You might as well post your Plex password.

I cannot use the links because they point to your local network.

I need the content of the XML.

what is the best way to get it to you? As you can see im new at this. It won't allow me to copy and paste it into a txt document. I can save it as a XML document but will that still have my token attached to it? If not, how do I get that into posted so you can see it?

No token in it, unless you also post the URL of the document (which is not necessary).
Just zip up the xml file if the forum doesn't allow you to attach it in its original form.

Or follow @JuiceWSA 's guide above.

I think this is it. doesn't look like the token is in it. I've posted them from both servers

I assume the Plex server version on the Shield is ancient, right?

    1) what happens, if you let Plex Analyze the item again?

    2) What has the standalone download mediainfo here to say about the number of channels?

(pay attention during installation, it comes with a 'piggybacked' installer which asks to install additional crapware. Make sure to set/clear the right checkboxes!)

Once it is installed, analyse the file, then go to:
    File - Export - Text [x](Advanced mode)

Did you do the manual Analysis within Plex?

Can you make a 1 min sample file from this and send me a download link? I will relay this to the developers.

yeah I think I'm not going to be any help. I'm sorry for bothering you all with this issue. I've read through all of those instructions and they're just not clear enough for me or I'm just too dumb to understand them. All that keeps happening is when I run mkvnix or whatever it's called, the program keeps making hundreds of 3-9 second files and covering my desktop. I'll just forget about this movie and just watch it on my SHIELD's server if I really need to. Too much work for one small problem for me.

Then you are almost there! :)
All you need is to restrict the number of files to generat to 2. This will get you a very small chunk to send to me and the rest of the movie will be in the second file which you can erase afterwards.

    Have you 'Split Mode' set?

Try the up/down arrows instead of typing in a number.
