Changing subtitle-offset virtually impossible due to black overlay/band at the bottom of the screen.

Hello,

When using Plex for Kodi it is vertually impossible to change the subtitle offset because a big black band apears at the bottom of the screen whenever selecting that option in Audio-settings, so the subtitles are not visible anymore.

I am on Kodi 17.3 and using the default Estuary skin. When using Confluence Skin I experience the same phenomenon.
When performing the same action in Kodi (without using Plex for Kodi)there is no black band appearing and the subtitles stay visible.

Anyone has a solution for this?

Thanks in advance.

Well I found a solution, not sure if this is new but when selecting the subtitle option completely on the right (instead of selecting it though video settings), you can set the delay without a black overlay :)

Sorry for the very late reply, I didn't follow this thread anymore because I had given up someone would still answer.
Problem has not been solved yet so here's the screenshots. The screenshots are taken from the desktop-client, since it happens on my nvidia as well as on my Windows-PC.

Whenever I press pause or want to adjust the subtitle offset the overlay comes over the subtitles, instead of the subtitles showing on top of the overlay, like when you adjust the subs with kodi (without Plex).

I cannot see the subs, thus I cannot adjust them to see when they are running correctly.

I've tried your 'solution' but I don't find an option for the subtitles completely on the right. Only place I can change the subtitles offset is in the 'audio' tab of the settings.
