Downloading subtitles

Hi,
Long time Kodi user but I have Plex installed too for occasionally watching something on the road. I've recently installed a Plex Media Player box at my parents place and would like for them to be able to download subtitles.
Kodi makes this very easy and you can select a subtitle yourself and search multiple sources. Plex does not have this. Is this something that is planned? I know about SubZero but I can't seem to get that to work properly.
Ideally I would just have another option on the player to download subs and then either have them locally or save them to the server as well.
Is this currently possible?
Thanks!

check out "Local Media Assets"
if you have the matching subtitles file(s), you can store them with the the movies on your server (incl. making them available to your clients).
