Now that PMP is getting updated for DVR (and much needed love), I want to play TV and movie content from it to my 4K TV. What is the consensus on the best setup for this? I have a little older i5 processor in my HTPC. Would it be best to get a $150 video card that supports 4K? If so, which one? Or would it be better to upgrade the CPU/motherboard to support Intel Quick Sync? thx!

Dan, after reading more threads I'm split between adding the video card to my HTPC. Some mentioned that they still get stuttering on HEVC videos with the upgraded video card. Many just decided to go the Nvidia Shield which has no stuttering, 4K and HDR support.
