No audio before disabling direct play but now high CPU

jhp1981jhp1981 Members Posts: 12 ✭✭

I had to disable direct play to get audio for my media but now the CPU usage is very high resulting in intermittent freezing of the video. I have windows 7 so I can not cast the video on my roku.

@jhp1981 I need a bit more information. What type and quality of audio is coupled to the video you are playing, and if you arent direct playing you are transcoding which takes up resources you may not have causing the "Freezing" or buffering.

HEVC and 10 Bit cause transcodes often depending on player, what device/player are you using? Im leaning towards your device not being able to handle the transcode.
