Can Roku 4 record ota tv with Plex?

Bert in MichiganBert in Michigan Members, Plex Pass Posts: 31 Plex Pass

I have been recording live TV for a while now with Plex and HDhomerun tuners for OTA.
Trying to get off cable TV and my wife is for it if she finds a easy way to do it. She records everyday.
I can set up series recording on my PC for her but she wants to be able to record live TV on a whim also.

She's used to Roku and that would be the best way to encourage her to cut cable TV.
I can't find a way to record with Roku and the Plex app so I take it I can't.
If not what are other device that will record ota TV using a Plex app?
Thanks.

Recording is not available on Roku. You have to do that from one of the apps where that feature is supported.

    Or from the server itself.
