"Failed to run the package service" since 1.13.2.5154

Dear,

I've recently updated to "PlexMediaServer-1.13.2.5154-fd05be322-x86_64.spk" manually from the Package Center, but I am now facing "Failed to run the package service" messages from the Package Manager GUI. Trying to do so from the CLI results in:

root@synology:/var/packages/Plex Media Server/scripts# ./start-stop-status start
Starting Plex ...
/var/packages/Plex Media Server/target/Plex Media Server: /lib/libstdc++.so.6: no version information available (required by /var/packages/Plex Media Server/target/libgnsdk_dsp.so.3.07.7)
/var/packages/Plex Media Server/target/Plex Media Server: /lib/libstdc++.so.6: no version information available (required by /var/packages/Plex Media Server/target/libgnsdk_dsp.so.3.07.7)
/var/packages/Plex Media Server/target/Plex Media Server: /lib/libstdc++.so.6: no version information available (required by /var/packages/Plex Media Server/target/libgnsdk_fp.so.3.07.7)
/var/packages/Plex Media Server/target/Plex Media Server: /lib/libstdc++.so.6: no version information available (required by /var/packages/Plex Media Server/target/libgnsdk_fp.so.3.07.7)

Trying the script as provided in link results in the same errors - although the last line does keep an blinking underscore visible - indicating that the script is still running? Doing a 'netstat -ntlp' in a different screen does not show port 32400 as listening tho (or any port with Plex Media Server as Program Name).

    In addition to this link, yes - I was stupid enough to have Plex actively running during the upgrade.

    "uninstall > reboot > install" did not solve the problem either, unfortunately.

    @ChuckPA do you happen to have any suggestions?

    @ChuckPA

    $ dmesg | grep Plex
    [ 349.377156] init: pkgctl-Plex Media Server pre-start process (21191) terminated with status 1
    [ 740.218915] init: pkgctl-Plex Media Server pre-start process (31610) terminated with status 1
    [ 921.084096] init: pkgctl-Plex Media Server pre-start process (6396) terminated with status 1
    [ 960.512248] init: pkgctl-Plex Media Server pre-start process (9433) terminated with status 1
    [ 1073.708390] init: pkgctl-Plex Media Server pre-start process (16964) terminated with status 1
    [80508.362570] init: pkgctl-Plex Media Server pre-start process (24824) terminated with status 1

    Regarding the permissions: not sure what happened during the upgrade, but Plex seems to have lost it's right to the Plex folder when viewing within Shared Folders. When going to File Station and looking there it has 'Full Control' though. Fixed by assigning privileges again to the admin groups (and one other custom group I've made Plex member of) and Plex now starts again properly.

    Thank you!

    Synology has this 'nasty little habit', which nobody knows why, of forgetting shared folder permissions.
