How do I add a library? When I attempt to do so, Plex takes me to a support page

I haven't used Plex for Android (purchased on Google Play) for about 6 months and just tried yesterday. I had Plex Media server turned on in my desktop and it was working fine, syncing from my video folders perfectly. But then on opening Plex for Android, I noticed that my shows and movies libraries are empty.

I tried to do a sync, but it simply says that there are no synced items. When I click into the Shows or Movies options on the bottom of the app, and Click the 'Add a Shows/Movies Library' button, it just takes me to a support article on getting started with plex. Does anybody know why it won't allow me to add a library?
