5.1 Flac Audio Playback

Using Plex Media Player on a Samsung BD player, from a W10 server.

I ripped one of my Bluray audio with 5.1 96Khz tracks to 24Bits/48kHz Flac files. VLC confirms that the 5.1 files have 6 channels.
My setup plays 5.1 mkv fine, but these multi-channel flac will only be played in stereo.

Do you have any idea how to fix this?

Thanks

It cannot be fixed. You BD doesn't support multi-channel FLAC.

The MKVs you used to test surround sound are likely using different surround sound formats, like AC3 or DTS.
