If your having permissions problems. Read through this guide.
Hep,

If your having trouble with adding your media to Plex Media Server, or Plex Media Server just wont browse to your newly added drive, chances are these two guides might help you. There is one for regular native permissions, and a new guide for adding NTFS drives to Linux (Ubuntu/Fedora/CentOS and the likes thereof)

Guides:
The Plex Media Server Linux permissions guide
The Plex Media Server NTFS on Linux guide
