Top 5 but not in order

The Man who would be King

A lot of Tarantino fans, so although not in my top 5, (would be in my top 10), awesome film and Tarantino's best - True Romance

    Right now, for me it's:

    1) 2001: A Space Odyssey

    2) There Will Be Blood

    3) 12 Years A Slave

    4) No Country for Old Men

    5) The Deer Hunter

Wait, this is impossible. You can't rate movies this way.

Now that I look at this I noticed that they all came out before I was born. Apparently they don't make movies like this anymore^^

I have a soft spot for Top Gun that I don't like to admit :) Must have watched it 10 000 times as a child.

Old post/thread I know but I too have a soft spot for Top Gun. Was legendary when it came out. I know I've seen it at least 500 times (no lie). I now have a ritual I do when ever I get a new TV, device or similar. Top Gun is the first movie I'll watch with the new setup. :)

I liked Days of Thunder as well which came out right after TG. For the 1980s these were good movies with a lot of action. And face it, guys like jet fighters and fast cars. :)

Neither is a top 5 movie anymore. Tastes constantly change and depend on mood, so I probably could never put a top 5 together but My Cousin Vinny would have to be up there. Damn funny classic movie.

    11.4K+ Movies, 425 Shows - 36.4K+ TV Episodes, 515 Christmas Movies, 480 Documentary, 335 3D Movies, 1300 Sports Events, 1280 Educational Videos, Premium Music: 215K+ Tracks, 900 GB Plex Meta-Data. 9 Network Tuners.

    This is a tough one.

    I have so many favorites.

    Star Trek Wrath of Kahn
    Inherit The Wind
Under Siege (Believe it or not I often feel like a stupid Steven Segal movie and this is it)
Andromeda Strain (Read the book a dozen time LOL.. Love the story. Book is better)
    Hunt For Red October

Bonus Favorite: Raiders of the lost Ark

PS: My cousin Vinny is up there too.. Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein rate hi with me as well
Never been a big Tom Cruise fan but my favorite Cruise movie is A Few Good Men.
