While trying to remotely accessing my media (not on my home network), I receive transcoder crashed errors. Deleting my libraries is not an option, because it takes a couple of days to re-build. I have tired analyzing the individual video, and the entire libraries to no prevail.I am currently on VER 1.8.2.4209. (WIN 10 Pro 64)
PLEX Staff or anyone in this forum have a fix yet?
There is no one fix for transcoder crashes. An ffmpeg heap corruption issue was addressed and fixed in 1.8.0.4109
There is currenly a problem being investigated of transcoder failure when some subtiltes are used.
Other than that, it could be something specific with the media files and one would need sample and logs to investogate

and to create a clip of the media file being transcoded when the crash occurs, see

and once the clip is created, test to see if a crash occurs, if it does please submit the clip and logs
