Latest version of Plex for Android cannot find server (latest)

It appears that the latest version of the Plex for Android (released June 2) has compatibility problems with the (latest version) server. Whenever I start it up, I a message indicating "No server found, make sure you are on the version 0.9.7 or higher", but my server is the latest ( Ended up discovering this because all of my Android TV clients auto-update to the latest update.

Anyways here are my client and server details:

Plex Server version:
OS: Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS

Plex version:
OS: Android

Thanks in advance!

Okay, just saw the responses later on in the thread. Setting the the Secure Connections to "Preferred" did the trick!

For those that need a guide to it:

Server > Settings > Network > Secure connections.

Thanks for the folks that figured it out!

had this same problem and was scratching my head trying to figure it out.

Server was running and I could access it on my fire stick connected to my TV, and could access on my android phones ONLY by setting manual server details.

Pain in the Ass when this stuff just breaks :D
