Is it possible to access plex media manager in browser on lan?

My connection is to slow for wan.
Hi.
I am using my ipad or iphone to make my NAS download files. Then I rename it and put it in the right folder.
After that i would like to use plex on my apple tv to watch it.
But to do that I need to go to the mac that is running media server and update the right section to make the file appear on my apple tv.
I could login to my plex and go that way with my ipad or iphone but my internet connection is so slow that it is faster to go to the mac.
Can I reach the media server true my LAN?
Changing http://WANIP:29385/manage/index.html?X-Plex-Token=Z4zH4KY8bBez2MTt9v3Z
To http://LANIP:29385/manage/index.html?X-Plex-Token=Z4zH4KY8bBez2MTt9v3Z
is not working.
How can I do it?

Wouldnt it be a good idea to be able to update the server from the iOS app?

Whenever I access it directly like this, it doesn't recognize my authentication credentials. When I go through myplex first, und use the mediaserver link from there, it works fine. Any ideas?

If you're on the same local network and on the same subnet, authentication is bypassed. For all other situations, you basically need to go through myPlex due to security reasons.

Have you tried the "Library Updater" app in the unsupported AppStore? It can update your different media sections from within the Plex interface on your TV using just the remote control (or from your mobile app as well).

    Cheers!
