Stream to Player over LAN without myPlex
Up until about a year ago I never had this issue but since then have had to enable UpNP on my router and also sign into myPlex on both the server and client PCs in order to get streaming to work  . My issue is that I want to disable UpNP due to the security risks and would like to only stream over my local LAN using manual port forwards. Is it even possible to do this without signing into myPlex?
Really hoping someone on here can help or point me in the right direction. I would like to stream from a Plex Media Server (running on a server PC) to a Plex Media Player installation (on a different client PC) over my LAN without using myPlex or UpNP. (Both PC's are running Windows 7.)
I have read a number of threads on these forums and also followed the guide found here to no avail. I've setup port forwards (both TCP and UDP) from port 32400 to port 32400 to my server PC. I did also ensure that "Require authentication on local networks" is not checked on the Plex Media Server.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this. :)
