DS411j. I recognize the 128MB of RAM may be a barrier but even limited functionality would simplify things considerably.

Any idea as to when you tally up the responses and make a decision?

DS1511+...

DS2411+ for me! Willing to be a beta tester; have fairly extensive Linux knowledge (devops is my day job).

People, it's a thread for ARM/PPC demands.
Don't ask for the Intel package (which doesn't exist for 0.9.5.2, I explained why in the main Synology thread) here.

chendo: there is a beta package in the main thread, search the last page for Beta 2 (it's 0.9.5.1 though).

SeaLawyer: if you're supposed to piss me off with the ellipsis, well, good job.
I did the packages on my free time, and Tobias set up the full auto-build with the same conditions, and we even took a few lunch breaks trying to overcome it.
So, seeing someone complaining (in the wrong thread I might add), when a temporary solution (0.9.5.1 Beta 2) exists? Not helpful, and definitely not cool.

edit: oops, I was being angry, I forgot all of the rest of you guys.
So, there is lots of demand for it. And as you guessed, right now is not the best time to start developing one. :(
Maybe when the whole auto-build business is done, and depending how it's done (Tobias is making a "Synology special" environment right now for the Intel one), and we know how to build something for ARM/PPC using the Synology toolchains, it MAY be done.
That's really conditional, and it's not just having a Synology ARM NAS and making "make --ARM".

@Nudgenudge: If you're looking for a Synology auto-build tool then you might be interested in spksrc: https://github.com/S...ommunity/spksrc
Building your SPKs with that tool would be awesome as it is used for distribution over package servers with DSM 3.2 new Package Center

Great job, I hope I'll have plex running on my DS211 soon :)

After speaking with Tobias on the subject, it may be a lot more than just this, if it's feasible at all. :(

I'll still check it out, but right now, lots of work, and Skyrim when I'm off work (too tired to code then), so I won't try to build it for a few months.
