I have set up the plex client on my Roku2. My server runs several add on channels like icefilms and mediathek etc. However none of these channels show up on the roku. They do show up on other clients for example my Ipad client. Are channels simply not working on the Roku2 or is there some kind of configuartion that would fix this ?

Thanks

Channels are broken in the current roku channel, this is a known issue. It's been corrected in the code, but a new version of the channel needs to be packaged up and released. I don't have an ETA on when that will happen.

I am sorry to hear that. I would love to get some of the channels into my Roku. Especially the Mediathek.

I would love to contribute to this if this would accelerate the ETA.

Let me touch base with Cayce and see what the plan is on releasing a new version. Channels have been fixed, although some issues may remain, so no further help is needed at this time. Once we can push out a new version we can troubleshoot more with the channels that don't work on the Roku and do work under Laika.

how long have the channels not been working on the roku?

today was the first time i tried to watch any of the channels. i tried youtube first and all the most viewed videos from today showed up but wouldnt play.
then i tried cnet. tried to watch a video from today and i got kicked out to my roku channels line up.
then i went to the "what's new" channels, tried the first one, Comic Vine and it worked... am i missing something?
thanks

So it looks like Cayce snuck in a code push, so basic channel support should be working now. It looks like someone already identified an issue with some webkit-based channels on github which I will be looking into.
