I have PMS working fine on my windows 7 machine and files stored on my Synology DS1812+. I have an older Samsung HD Television I use my PS3 to stream to. My ps3 finds the PMS w/o issue and plays movies w/ wifi with only slight stuttering. I will be setting it up with a wired connection to solve that issue. My problem is I do not see any Cover Art. I know it is possible, I have seen a youtube video of PS3 and Xbox 360 both displaying cover art for movies and tv shows. Any help trouble shooting this problem would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

This is a problem with 9.6.3.143 !

Seems it will be solved with the next
release.

BTW I have another problem :

If I pause a video and start it again
it is stuck some seconds later.
Seems as it has lost the stream !?

PMS (Playstation Media Server)is still the
much better DLNA.

Another problem lately is the audio will start having a loud sever "screeching" noise and random times after movie starts and does not stop. This happens with any movie I try to play. I now have a wired connection via cat6 from a gigabit router.

I have had the same problem with 9.6.4. If I pause it for to long it loses the stream.

Mine just stopped showing all the movies. It finds the PMS, I see all my directories such as Movies, TV Shows, Music, etc, but when I open Movies, which I should have 150 movies it does not show any of them. The PS3 Media Server shows them all with cover art. No idea what is happening now.

When will this be fixed in the server edition of synology NAS?

I just got a PS3 because everyone said it was great, but it just looks lame with no covers.

And I have also noticed the Pause / can't restart issue. Which is compounded further by the inability of FF/REW not working. SO basically once you have started playing something you can't stop it... not ideal... This was my solution for a second TV (Plex server on Synology + PS3).... maybe I should have just brought another Boxee Box.
