Is it possible? Is it in the works? I would gladly pay for a Plex app on PS3.

DNLA has two problems for me, one large and one small:

1. The big one is no resume. If I stop and start a video, it picks up at 0:00:00. Pretty lame.

2. The presentation is adequate at best. The OSX and Roku apps pull in posters, summaries, etc. very beautifully.

I too would pay for a 'native' PS3 app.

What other problems are people having with PS3/DNLA?

Pretty sure there's no way for just anyone to develop a PS3 app :( You need to be a Sony partner & have an expensive development kit to even begin to create something.

This is not gonna happen trust me :) Sony wont allow it and the DLNA way is the way to go for now.

Not sure when, but it's been months since I've been able to resume video streamed to my PS3 through DLNA. It will resume only when watched from THAT PS3, but that's my main viewing setup, so I'm ok.

They have a dev kit loaner program as well.
