Hello together,

yesterday I've installed the PLEX-App on my Synology DS212+. After the installation I've changed the port from 32400 to 8081 and restared the nas.
After the reboot the PLEX-Service won't start again. A reinstallation of the app hasn't fixed the problem.

For me it seems that the port configuration is stored somewhere else on the nas.

Has somebody a idea how to get plex working again?

Chris

That doesn't change the port, that tells the myPlex cloud servers on what port to contact your routers WAN IP address on. Plex will always run on port 32400.

Now the service is running again. It seems that the folder /volume1/Plex was removed but not the entry on the shared folders in the DSM.
I've copied a existing empty folder, renamed them to Plex and removed the shared folder over the DSM. After that I could reinstall the Plex-App.

Thanks for your help.
