The movie probably has a wrong format, as the log indicates it is switching correctly. Have you tried playing it with the All-Share player?.
TBHO, you are better of getting H-SBS movies as they don't have so many different implementations and work 99% of the time.

Agreed on both statements, if it counts

Actually I think it is in 3D. But it is very weired because the ouput of the video is splitted to left & right content. Also the menu of the TV is shown on both sides. Seems like the output of the TV is mirrored.
I have shot a photo with my phone. The windows at bottom left says 3D active. But the info is shown on both sides of the splitted screen.

Also I have created the 1Min of the movie. Unfortunately its 100MB big. How to share it?

Okay...I give up here, cuz your sample played perfectly on my 55ES8005

As such, I can only conclude, that the Samsung Plexapp, the PMS and the movie are all okay.

First thing I would do then, is to uninstall the PlexApp from your tv, and then unplug the power cord.

Wait 2 min, power up again, and reinstall Plex

Ok checked it with AllShare Player through DLNA. Worked out great! Trying to reinstall Plex on Samsung now...
EDIT: Did try it. Still the same problem. Any ideas?

Ok thanks for all your help though. Have updated Plex to newest version but still same problem. Luckily it does work with Samsung All Share.

First off very happy to see this forum post I have been switching to my computer just to watch the 3D films but not any more. I would like to request that this be added as an option in the media manager where you click on 3D HSBS or 3D TAB

sorry to bring back a old post but wanted to ask... is there any way that if plex detect a mvc 3d mkv it will popup a box and ask "2d or 3d" and if 3d is selected it transcode the move to side by side? would that be a feature that yall may add?

I Think that would be a universal fix to the problem som both old and new models will be able to "support" mvc mkv

I understand that, and thx for the reply. but plex can/do (server side), If plex (server) detects the movie you trying to play is a MVC mkv it have the client popup a box asking do they want the 3d or 2d verion of the movie and if the user select 3d. plex (server) transcode to side by side 3d (something that all 3d tv's support) and sends it to client.

hope thats more clear.

We will not support this. If you want to play these files in 3D you will have to re-encode them yourself.

Have you checked if your answer might be in the User Manual?
