I download myPlex app on Nexus 10 on Dec 19th and installed it on Synolog DS212+ the same day.

Here is the device details
Google/Samsung Nexus 10
Android Version 4.2.1
Kernel Version: 3.4.5-g4e6298b
android-build@vpbs1.mtv.corp.google#1
Tue Nov 6 16:39:41 PST 2012
Build Number JOP40D

Plex Media Server
Version: 0.9.6.9.240-8fd9c6a

My plex user id: am2012

Playing video on Vimeo or from my local Synology drive gives the same error for all the media types.
The error message is
“We’re sorry but there was problem attempting to play ‘Trip to Mexico’:
There was a problem with media playback.

Tried various troubleshooting options
-> Clear the data in Manage Applications
-> Tried turning on/off HLS
-> Tried reducing video quality to 0
-> Tried various Transcoding options
-> Tried disabling Direct Play
-> Tried various options in Secondary Media Player
-> Tried less Color / More speed
-> Tried Reset to factory defaults

Nothing works.

The App is also very very slow. It takes few seconds for each tap to respond. I've restarted the tablet several times and running only myPlex. but the same problem

Can you somebody please help?
Thanks

Wish I could offer some help. I would to see a resolution to your problem as I hope toget a Nexus 10 soon and Plex is something I would hope to often use on it.

Have you tried submitting a query to the Plex android app developer?

Good luck, hope you get it sorted out.

I can tell you that Plex does work on the Nexus 10. I have been using it to play 1080p and 720p mp4's beautifully. I assume this is a video format issue.

Then why does Vimeo not play either? That's supposed to play.

None of these items are playing because it needs HLS transcoding to work which your server device is not capable of doing

Thanks that explains.
In short the problem is Synology DS212+ that is unable to transcode due to limitation of ARM processor. Although DS213+ has a different processor and it can transcode
Here is the Synology forum post that explains it
I'm going to try installing plex server on Win7 PC.

Here is a nice wiki on plex and NAS
