I wanted to watch Cloud Atlas but i get this error. How to fix it? Mediainfo is in attachment!

Did you check whether this file played well on a desktop first? I also had a Cloud Atlas release that crashed several codecs; downloading another version of the video fixed this.

Plex Server: Octa-core AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz, 16GB ECC RAM, Opensuse 13.2, 24TB net ZFS (RAIDZ)

Plex Clients: 6x Roku 3, 1x Samsung Galaxy TAB 2, 8x iPhone/iPad, 1x Samsung ES7000 TV, 1x Xbox 360, 1x PS3, 1x Chromecast, 1x Roku Streaming Stick, 1x RasPlex (Pi2)

Network: 1Gb LAN, 100/100Mb Fiber Internet

Software: plexWatch/Web, plexReport, trakt.tv channel

Yes it plays fine on computer....

I found whats wrong: it is in Format profile: High@L5.2 ! For Samsung TVs to play it it mus be in Format profile: High@L4.1! Anyone know how to change format without reencoding?

Thats not possible without transcoding.

I found some info online u can just edit the file with hex editor and change the number, but couldnt find right info for 5.2 format profile...

Yea i am having the same issue, One with a CloudAtlas release as well as a Tron Eppisode 12 release. PMS plays it well on the desktop (plex web) as well as Android/ipad but fails on my d8000.

So remuxing it is the way to fix it? Can I use mkvnix to do this or I need something else?

I do not watch a few episodes of the TV series with the "Format Profile" is "high@L3.1."
