NEW: Use HTTP Live Streaming as default transcode format (this should address most of the issues people have with slow or laggy transcodes.)
NEW: App bar and popup dialogs can now be navigated with cursor keys and remote controls
NEW: Preference for Direct Play vs higher-resolution transcodes
NEW: Advanced preference to display selection caret by default, instead of on first keypress (again, better for remote controls)
NEW: Display information about current transcode in app bar during video playback
NEW: Media information popup in video pre-play pages
NEW: Subtitle picker now displays subtitle format, in addition to language
NEW: Added buttons and keyboard accelerators for video skip/replay
NEW: Plex Media Server version 0.9.7.12 is now required
NEW: Subtitle burning is now much more reliable

FIX: Play the selected audio stream when Direct Playing
FIX: Selecting None as the subtitle option didn't always work
FIX: Mouse cursor now disappears when playing video
FIX: Go back to previous page when video playback ends
FIX: On Deck items now display resume button icon when appropriate
FIX: Music player progress bar now advances when page is revisited
FIX: Initial server test dialog now re-discovers local servers if necessary
FIX: Initial server test dialog now reconnects to myPlex if necessary
FIX: Pick up changes to server names when testing a server
FIX: RTMP videos in queue now play correctly
FIX: Occasional skipping with high bitrate video when Direct Playing
FIX: Media flags now display correctly for content from myPlex
FIX: Season page would crash when refreshed
FIX: Disable seeking when playing content that requires Flash/Silverlight
FIX: Update Microsoft Smooth Streaming Client SDK to 1.0.130111

FIX: Aspect ratio was incorrect when resuming an HLS transcode
FIX: Don't transcode music when video preference disables Direct Play
FIX: Playing a second music playlist didn't work
FIX: Don't display skip back/ahead buttons when loading video
FIX: App could crash if user alt-tabs at precise moment a message dialog is being displayed

Known Issues:
[Live Streaming] Video may skip a few seconds ahead when playing from beginning
[Live Streaming] AC-3 is not supported
[Live Streaming] Video playback can stop working if an HLS segment download fails. [Restart app to work around issue]
[Video] For multi-part media, only the first file is played
[Video] Video may glitch when alt-tabbing or displaying app bar [Microsoft Media Foundation issue]
[Video] Selecting subtitles always triggers a transcode [Microsoft Media Foundation issue]
[Video] MKV containers, DTS audio, FLAC music are not supported [Microsoft Media Foundation issue]
[PlayTo] Using Xbox 360 as a PlayTo target can be very slow [Microsoft Xbox issue]
[UX] Watched circles don't always update when returning to page after media watched status changes

Many thanks for all the fixes..keep it up. The Windows 8 app is just great.

Are you using your own HLS stack on the client or the solution from 3ivx? Just curious...

This app is fkn amazing! No more Media Center, no more codec packs, no more detailed configuration. Just Plex.

Never mind, noticed I can download a new Synology packaged app from this website :)
