503 error Service Unavailable every 24 hours

For the past 3 days my plex server has been displaying a 503 Service Unavailable when I wake up in the morning. I’m running plex via docker version 20.10.16 on Ubuntu 18.04.

When I restart the docker container, everything runs fine again until the next morning. It’s almost as if this would be caused by the maintenance period (from 4am to 6am for me).

I’m not quite sure how to troubleshoot this.

I ran “Optimize Database” from the Manage > Troubleshooting settings yesterday and Plex server was still up and running this morning. I will keep monitoring it.

The Optimize Database option appears to have solved the issue.
