I am getting the same error on my TerraMaster. Attached is the log file.logfile.txt (424.7 KB)

I’m getting the following error message when I try and install Plex Media Server

A problem has been detected with a core component of Plex Media Server.

I’ve successfully installed Plex on many of my personal machines in the past but this the first time I’ve installed it on this particular machine. I’m not sure what the issue is. I’ve uploaded my system logs. Please advise.

Plex Tuner Service.zip (2.7 MB)

Would you please explain how to downgrade? I don’t have these older versions on my system because I wiped all of the plex folders to do a fresh reinstall of the current version - was having so many issues - twice.

  1. Where can you find older versions on plex.com?
  2. In case a person does have archived versions on their system how do they “rollback” or “downgrade” the software using those archived packages?

EDIT: I see I can get the download link for the current version and modify it with the older versions name. Problem is I don’t have the complete version name. It should look like this:

1.19.1.2645-ccb6eb67e
and you have written it like this:
1.18.6.2348

Please locate and add the rest of the version info so I can download. Thanks!!

I have searched and not found the answers to those questions on this site. (I did find one conversation but it was for windows.)

This sucks. It appears that Plex isn’t monitoring this message thread. I would’ve thought someone would’ve responded to my request for assistance by now…

Getting same message. I installed several times, restarted iMac and keep getting the same message. Can someone please help.

Any updates?
