# Ability to hide library from Admin account

I would like the ability to hide a specific movie library(s) from my admin account.
Example: I have a movie library created for Children 2 and under. I wish not to see that library, which contains such videos, when I am logged in to my admin account on any plex client but able to view only when I am in my managed user for "Children". Perhaps only viewable in the Plex-Web browser client for editing purposes but not on say PHT or Roku, etc. What do you guys think?

I would love this to. I have libs setup for season/holidays and would like to hide them from myself when not in season.

why would you not just create your own sub account for yourself and then only log into admin on Plex/Web? Seems to be the exact functionality you are looking for.

I did that for a while. However there are some functions like channels and various settings that are unavailable to home users. As well as the ability to sync on iOS which is a bag of hurt right now. Plus I'm trying to minimize the complexity of the front end. Thanks for the reply.

I think you have to be able to administer these folders, and since Plex has no sense of ownership the admin becomes the defacto owner.
I think Plex has to develop a sense of ownership, and then become true multi-user. Then you can have your own personal account and you can filter all this overhead. At least there should be an admin account and normal users, where normal users can have their own channels etc. (i.e. Home users should become first class citizens).

Can you do this and maintain the watched statuses from the admin account? Apologies if that's a stupid question that has been answered a million times...
