# Ability to move an Item

Would love to be able to move and item from one section to another automatically. I know I can physically move the file myself and PMS and it's database would figure it all out on it's own, but it would be nice to be able to do it from the media manager rather than at the OS level.

Plex sections could be made up from lots of file paths for media - are you expecting Plex to start changing your filestore
In my environment - plex only has READ access to my media repository and I would not want to do any file/folder manipulation of the source files in Plex
