# Ability to send notifications to managed users

I would like to send individual and global messages to the managed users on my Plex Server. Similar to how I can post a message/notification when I terminate a manage user’s active stream. I would like to send a message without having to terminate their active stream. Examples for why this is useful:
1. Notification that the server will be down for maintenance.
2. Notifications to users when large volumes of content like TV Show seasons are being rotated out for new content.
3. Notifications that specific content requests are available on plex.
