Hi, i have problems with 5.1 audio, i am using latest build of plex server on my windows 7 machine, latest plexconnet, and atv3 latest firmware i also set on on in atv the dolby digital and also select that on my plex server, but i only get stereo with my home threater   Can anyone help?   Thanks ---

Where is that setting? I've searched high and low through the Plex Media Server preferences (Mac OS X version) and I can't find it anywhere. \*\*\* Never mind. I found it. I had to enable advanced options and the description is a little different: "Enable Dolby Digital during AirPlay: When playing video with AirPlay on an Apple TV, allow Dolby Digital audio to play. To have that you need plex pass. If you don't have 9.8 no 5.1 from ATV. If your running plex media server 9.8 check off 5.1 sound and set the ATV Dolby from auto to on. ---

The latest publics release of PMS now has the 5.1 option, although it is labelled Airplay 5.1. ---

I have 0.9.7.28 version , so you mean i can have 5.1 from my atv3? ---

Howdy, I have the latest PlexPass version of PMS running on a Windows 7 machine, the 5.1 option under PMS Transcoder -\> Advanced Settings is checked, my ATV3 is set to ON for Dolby Digital, and I have the latest version of PlexConnect.  Everything is working except 5.1 with PlexConnect on the ATV3.  But 5.1 works fine on my ATV3 with all other apps (e.g. Netflix, AirPlay).  Any ideas? I am having the same issue. 5.1 works over AirPlay but doesn't work with ATV3 and PlexConnect.  ---

Ive got the same problem.  Ive checked everything I could. I had a running configuration with an older PlexConnect version running just fine with dolby digital. But Ive setup my new ubuntu server today and I couldn't get it to run. As I already have deleted my old mac mini server theres no chance I can verify its the new PlexConnect version to be honest. Im running the latest Plexpass Server and latest PlexConnect versions ---

I was able to verify that the latest pull from PlexConnect does disable 5.1 dolby digital on AppleTV for me. I took an 12 days old version from my time machine and there it works again ---

I have the same issue. New plexconnect and 5.1 stopped working, in addition I am now also experiencing flicker and lagging in the sound. ---

Hope this helps. ---
