# Account Email Issues

Hi,

I have sent two emails of the past two weeks, to the billing. I have an incorrect email ‘claimed’ my server.

I have sent dates, transaction ID and Date of Plex pass purchase.

Please let me know how I can solve this issue.

Is the problem:

(a) Your server is claimed by the wrong account

(b) Your server is claimed by the correct account, but that account has the wrong e-mail address

(c) Something else.

If (a): You can fix this by unclaiming the server, then re-claiming it with the desired account.

If (b): Do you know the account password? If yes, you can change the e-mail address yourself. Go to account settings: [https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/account](https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/account), enter the desired e-mail address and account password.

NOTE: The “new” e-mail address cannot have recently been used for a different Plex account. Plex has a lockout period on reusing e-mail addresses. If the e-mail address you wish to use is locked out, then Plex Billing must be involved.

If (c): Please explain.
