Actually separating libraries on the home page instead of having them all dumped in TV

Ok, I’m not the brightest around and it seems like this would be drop dead simple. I assume I just don’t know how.
I have TV Shows as a library. They are shown on the Plex home screen.
My home screen groups RECENTLY ADDED Movies, TV, pictures.
I added Anime as a library., however on the home screen it dumps Everything into the TV category.
I have to pick an option setting up the Anime library. If i pick anything but TV SHOWS it will not sort them. However, when I pick that, Plex, on the home screen dumps both Anime and TV Shows into Recently added TV.

I’ve just buried my Actual recently added TV under 4TB of Anime.
If I wanted them dumped in the same category I would have just added the Anime directory to the TV Shows library. I would like Recently added TV and Recently added Anime on the home screen.

Please for the love of God is there any way to keep the individual libraries “individual” on the home screen?

In Settings > Manage > Libraries, make sure the “Merge Recently Added Items” option is disabled.

What you may be looking for is something similar to what I have. I have a separate animation TV show for my kids but I don’t want them on my Home Screen.

Click on your anime library and go edit-manage library-advanced and under visibility check “exclude from Home Screen” and you can add whatever you want to your anime library and it won’t show up on recently added TV. This was a huge pain in the +++ for me until I figured out that solution! Hope that helps.

If you wan to use Continue Watching for that library, uncheck Recently Added for that library from the home screen,

or unpin that library

Heh, no got. I’m trying to update this old version and maybe I’ll have that option.
However Plex is somewhat… resistant to upgrading within Plex for whatever reason.
I hesitate to update thru the exe file downloaded in my browser.
I’ve done that in the past and lost all manner of tweaks and edits.
