# Add 6mbps 1080p setting

Would be nice for those with limited upload bandwidth. I could provide two 1080p 6mbps streams with my bandwidth, but instead I have to allow only 720p at 4mbps (or only one at 8mbps). I frankly wish it was more granular than that. Allow changes in 1mbps increments.

I have a 25/30mbps upload speed and that allows 4 users simultaneously - usually. That’s typically 3 users streaming 1080p and one on 720p. I find the way Plex runs on my system - an old laptop laying around with a Legacy Core i5, means most 1080p streams take up 4.5mbps. I ask the users to set to maximum quality and never encounter problems. I’m looking to move to at least a 75mbps upload speed soon which will help.

Recently had full fibre installed in my area too so they offer symmetric upload/download speeds. Exciting times ahead!
