# Add a "find results" button to Search function

When using search function, results start piling in as you type, this causes the input keyboard to lock up on smart TVs. This could be simplified by adding a “submit” or “Find” button that can be selected after you have completed entering the search criteria

Just to clarify… you’re suggesting for Plex to offer search results as-you-type, and instead to click a `Search` button once you’ve typed your complete search term?

Yes exactly… I find that Plex starts searching as soon as you begin to type and it hangs up the input screen on smart TVs…especially if you have a large library.
