# Add NAS server to Plex on PC

This is a Synology, correct?

Which model? Control Panel → Info Center → Model name.

Which version of DSM? Control Panel → Info Center → DSM version.

  

EDIT: Is this the same DS918+/DSM 7.2 from your [October 2025 thread](https://forums.plex.tv/t/problem-with-nas-synology-and-nvidia-shield/932062)?

If so, is Plex no longer working correctly on the NAS, did you remove & re-install Plex, etc.?

Just trying to understand the situation.
