# Add option to stop plexamp from the server

Most of the time I forget to stop or close the plexamp at my work, but the pc is always on. But unlike movies or series we can’t send a stop message on music.

Can it be added? I know it will have to be created tasks on both server and player but I think it is a good thing.

Indeed this is a strong lack, both via the Dashboard and Plex Dash. Regular Plex clients get a Stop Playback option, but Plexamp does not.
